November 5, Light the Night
Each year, in communities all across the United States and Canada, teams of families, friends, co-workers and local and national corporations come together to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk events and bring help and hope to people battling blood cancers. Walk Distance: 2 miles. The Walk is done at a leisurely pace and takes less than an hour to complete.

November 5-6, Bike the Coast
Bike the Coast is a cycling event which offers opportunities for everyone from the beginner or junior rider up to the more serious regular rider to enjoy the coast and hills of North County.  Choose from a 7-mile ride, a 15-mile ride, or a 25-mile ride.

November 6, Curie’s 23nd Annual Holiday Craft Fair
One of the largest holiday craft fairs in San Diego, drawing thousands of visitors, and is extremely popular with crafters from all over the state. Entertainment for the whole family includes over 100 booths of handmade art and craft items, a Kid’s Corner, bake sale, food booths, 26 silent auction baskets and an opportunity drawing. Free parking.

November 6-7, Escondido Renaissance Faire
The age of chivalry will be recreated among the wonders of nature in an idealic setting.  Travel back to the 16th century and the glories of the reign of Elizabeth the First.  Activities usually include battle pageants, music in the streets, jugglers and hundreds of costumed re-enactors performing in the giant outdoor play.

November 7, Komen Race for the Cure®
Proceeds from this 5K run/walk will fund breast cancer education, screenings, and treatment programs in San Diego County as well as national research for the prevention of breast cancer. Includes post-event activities at the park.

November 10, Taste of Coronado

November 11, Annual San Diego Veteran’s Day Parade
This parade is held in admiration of veterans of past wars and to give a salute of recognition and honor to our military men and women of today who strive to keep our country safe. Several events are scheduled.

November 11-14, Annual Dixon Lake Trout Derby
A fun-filled event for anglers of all ages! Many ways to win great prizes. The only cost to enter the derby is that each fisherman must purchase a daily permit, normally required to fish the lake anyway, plus adults 16 and over must also have a California Fishing License.

November 13, Del Mar Mud Run
5K course with multiple mudpits and challenging military-style obstacles that include tunnel crawls, tire obstacles, cargo net crawls and jump walls.  Registration is limited to the first 5,000.

November 19, City of Santee Holiday Lighting Celebration

November 20, Annual Toys for Tots Motorcycle Benefit Ride
The Toys for Tots ride will depart the Oceanside Harbor parking lot and end at Casino Pauma.  Bring $10 and a new unwrapped toy.  Lunch will be provided by Casino Pauma.  There will also be prize drawings and a drill team show.  Oceanside Police escorted ride departs at 11:20 am.  The ride benefits the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

November 21, 64th Annual Mother Goose Parade
The Mother Goose Parade is the largest, single-day event in San Diego County and one of the biggest parades of its kind in the United States.  Generally there are over 100 entries featuring clowns, floats, bands, equestrians, giant balloons, and Santa Claus.

November 21, Encinitas Street Faire & Fall Festival
