Margie Millar of County Properties (ShortSaleRealtors4U.com) made the short sale process a lot a less scary and complicated than we thought it was going to be. There are many stories out there about how the process takes to long and cant be done in a timely matter. In the case with Margie things went smoothly and quickly.
I would advise anyone in a similar situation, to consider a short sale. The damage to our credit was minimal. We purchased a new truck a month later and had no problem with the financing the interest rate is great. We will be able to buy a new house in 2 years and wont show a foreclosure. With economy the way it is if you are in over your head don’t wait! Thank you Margie for all you help to make this process easier and answering all of our questions (there were a lot of those!) It has been an absolute pleasure working with you Jerry and County Properties. We must have gone through about 4 agents before we happened upon you by chance…and we are very greatful we did. Though we don’t have plans to move for MANY more years to come you will definitely be on our ” tell our friends ” list. As far as the garage door opener goes…you have done SO much for us and I appreciate the offer, we will just swing by home depot and add it to our list. Thank you again for the gift card it helps curb the bite of all those pesky new home needs. By the way if you have the extra key for the house…keep it, dump it…we are having the house re-keyed this weekend per your recommendation.
Once we are all settled in, which will take a few months as we wait for the kids to finish school up here, we would enjoy the pleasure of your company when we have our first get together with friends and family. Re: Appreciation Letter for Our Realtor with County Properties (ShortSaleRealtors4U.com) on our selling house Short Sale.
My wife Nerissa and I want to extend our sincere appreciation to Wayne Harris, Realtor for County Properties. Wayne was very instrumental in the search, purchase, and eventuality of closing on our first home in, Riverside Ca. Wayne worked extremely hard helping us submit many offers, in a very difficult Real Estate Market, eventually getting one of the offers accepted on a very beautiful home.
Next, Wayne helped us to understand the changing market as well as explain the process that took place with the paperwork and legal requirements such as disclosures that both the selling side and our side needed to know in submitting offers, how those disclosures affected our property and how and what would happen with each individual offer being submitted in relationship to the type of sale it was i.e. short sale, REQ. or a regular sale.
Furthermore, he took time to explained how and why he arrived at each particular offer price in order for us to be competitive and yet respected our financial circumstances. Wayne took whatever time was necessary to meet us to tour homes ensuring we had viewed all the properties we were interested in; always saying it was not about buying a home in as much as making sure we were happy with the home we purchased Lastly, Wayne nearly always answered his cell phone or promptly returned our calls within a very short time.
We greatly appreciated getting to know Wayne and have enjoyed having him as our Realtor. He is a highly honest and ethical Realtor and person and we highly recommend Wayne to anyone who is looking to have a Realtor of integrity; always looking out for his client’s best interest.
